Insurance
Jami is in network with UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, and Aetna. Coverage, copays, and deductibles vary by plan, so it's a good idea to confirm your mental health benefits with your insurer before your first session.
Using out-of-network benefits
If you have a different plan, you may still be reimbursed for part of the cost through out-of-network benefits. Superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement. A superbill is an itemized receipt you submit to your insurer. Reimbursement depends on your plan and isn't guaranteed.
Before you start, call the member services number on your insurance card and ask:
- Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible, and how much of it have I met?
- What percentage of the cost do you reimburse for a session?
- Is the benefit the same for telehealth (video) sessions?
Cancellation policy
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full session fee: $175 for an individual session and $250 for a couples session. Insurance doesn't cover late-cancellation or no-show fees. Emergencies happen, so please reach out if something unexpected comes up.
Good Faith Estimate
If you don't have insurance or aren't using it, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost. You can ask for one before you schedule. Read the Good Faith Estimate notice.
What happens after you reach out
